Wall Street Journal reporting shows some company leaders have questioned how much attention the effort receives compared with the Snapchat app. The company assigned staff to the unit and sought outside funding for it, but that funding did not arrive. Snap states it does not require external capital. The glasses are set to reach the market on Sept. 16.

Specs is a full AR computer without tether or pucks. Meta rayban lets you take pictures and listen to music. This lets you play Yu-Gi-Oh
