narrowly: I am neither pro-nor-against the emergence of "state corporatism"/"state capitalism" i am simply asking you to notice that the separation of state and industry that tech has enjoyed from 2005-2025 is the historical exception, not the norm. don't get too comfortable.
It is distinctly possible that Elon will be the only trillionaire to ever exist because he exploited this narrow window where a government deeply and heavily subsidized technology for private industry without claiming ownership over a supermajority of the profits
