@rj clank it

@andrewchen ez, we did. It's slop, word of the year 2025. I'll slop it!

@andrewchen I’ll ask the clanker

@andrewchen Grok it 🤘

@_SamDuval Why not a verb?

@andrewchen “Let me ask Claude”

@tschillaciML yes but why no verb yet?

@AmHardtech Too many syllables no?

@andrewchen Daily dilemma on what to say here

I think two reasons: - lots of the time it's not you or me doing the verb, the AI is doing it. So I might say "My AI is googling the best chili recipes for me".
- What is the verb you're trying to standardize? AI covers many unrelated usecases. You can't pin it to many of them because that would be confusing, and pinning it to one would feel restrictive.
* I think people do say "I'll ask Chat" a fair amount. I think I hear that as much as "I'll google it".

@MannyyGG I think of that as asking my friend group chat? Not an LLM?

@n0w00j @andrewchen @rj I’m tworking.
Pronounced same as twerk. T is for transformers.

@andrewchen Everybody under 20: “ask chat”

@andrewchen @rj you can ask @clanker_world to do anything
command/verb is simply like this:
"Hey Clanker Clank..."

@andrewchen I’ll have my Agent do it.

@ktrivs Doesn't asking chat mean that you're about to text your friend group chat?

@andrewchen It’s because it’s a noun / personified.
“I said this in Chat.” “Let me ask Chat.” “Chat said this.” “Claude said that.”
It’s not a bug, it’s a feature. AI has become personified so we just give them names.
Back in 2002 and 2015 Google and Uber were still “tools” / verbs.

@andrewchen @rj this is it
