Anthropic reconfirmed it wants to bring Fable 5 back as a standard Claude subscription model once capacity improves, but no fixed date for that yet.
Right now, Fable 5 is included for Pro, Max, Team, and seat-based Enterprise subscribers only until July-07, with a 50% weekly-limit cap; i.e. users can use up to 50% of weekly subscription limits on Claude Fable 5 at no extra cost.

@trq212 Capacity will allow it the second you take fable out of subscriptions. Nobody will be using it at api price. From maybe 80% of users using it to maybe 0.1-1%. Just set a fable only limit that is stricter so people only use it when needed if you really have to.
Can someone from Anthropic assist with this? The recent account suspension is seriously affecting our professional work and client delivery. If there are default usage limits in place, it doesn’t make sense for access to be suspended while around 50% of the limit is still remaining. A clearer explanation, warning, or review process would really help here. @ClaudeDevs

@trq212 One thing I don't understand: if Fable is twice as expensive for y'all to run relative to Opus, why can't we have it on subs with it using limits twice as fast, indefinitely? Isn't compute utilization the same in that scenario?
@trq212 Considering its been 14 days since it was originally meant to be taken off the subscription, the capacity has probably been improved already ? Or is it just a made up limitation?
The biggest argument is that it was supposed to be available for much longer previously and at 100% usage until it was disabled. Now you’ve brought it back and not covered the missing period and even went further and reduced to 50% usage. You’re not helping your cause at all currently.

@trq212 This is really good to hear. I am sure many others are considering switching their subscriptions due to this. Its going to be a massive W for users if you guys actually increase usage limits and include it in subscription plans. OpenAi surely will do so.
