Daniel Jeffries and Carlos E. Perez argue Meta's shift toward artificial superintelligence disrupted its Llama 4 development and market momentum

It's really a shame they let that one model derail them because they were really getting mind and market share and one bad model should not have spoiled the bunch (and frankly it wasn't even that bad). I think they just got ASI pilled and it was, IMHO, a mistake. They had a real shot if they had stuck with the strategy. Maybe they come around to the end again eventually. Here's hoping. It would put a smile on my face.
