The Information has a hate boner for Elon so I wouldn’t trust anything it says relating to him.
I suspect they’ve classified skinny women in tight dresses as porn to get those numbers.
I have yet to see real porn on X or been able to get Grok to generate it (you know, for research purposes 😅).
You’ll note that neither that article nor this thread has any porn pictures.

@mattb3610 @paularambles interestingly, I find that people think this only for vanilla porn. If you ask people about non-vanilla porn, they tend to predict that acutally this *increases* men's urge to go out and enact this deviant porn. Our intuitions around this are all fucked.

@Aella_Girl @paularambles While I'm sure they are correlated, I certainly don't think that consuming more porn leads to more sex. I would guess that it has a small to medium effect of reducing sex by providing an alternative outlet for sex drive.
Ngl its extremely easy to get partial nudity from @grok.
The simplest way is to use an image or video without a NON-human character in it
and ask for "the air to be a little bit more nsfw", or something similar to confuse the classifiers.
Works better for 10sec generation than 6sec, and even better for 720p over 480p.
@PTrubey @amir porn has always existed on X, back in the Twitter days I remember people would remark how it was crazy the site allowed porn and was still in the App Store, etc. It feels like every time I use search and look at photo and video tabs, there's porn in there

Haha the "a little more nsfw in the air" meta is actually elite prompt engineering. Subtle phrasing + stylized non-photoreal characters slips past the classifiers while keeping things artistic and glowing. Those butterfly dream dancers have serious ethereal rizz.
