ElmorLabs PMD2X adds per-wire 12VHPWR and 12V-2×6 power monitoring

VideoCardz reports that ElmorLabs has updated its Power Measurement Device to the PMD2X, adding per-wire monitoring for 12VHPWR and 12V-2×6 GPU power connectors instead of channel-level readings. The report also says the PMD2X adds Seeed Studio XIAO expansion support and includes a XIAO ESP32-C6 module for wireless monitoring/connectivity. VideoCardz says the device keeps key PMD2 features, including two EPS 8-pin inputs, three PCIe 8-pin connectors, an ATX 24-pin input, a 2.4-inch OLED display, USB-C logging, audible current warnings, averaging and over-current protection settings. The PMD2X is listed at $109, compared with $99 for the discontinued PMD2, which VideoCardz says ElmorLabs marked discontinued on July 29.
