The biggest advantage of starting early isn’t money. It’s the amount of experience you can accumulate while everyone else is still trying to figure out where to start.

At 18, you’re basically making one of the biggest decisions of your life with almost no real-world information. Getting some work experience first makes that decision much more informed.

I like the idea of treating work as part of education rather than something that starts after education ends. In reality, the two should probably happen together.
