Activists Occupy OpenAI Offices in SF and NYC
Demonstrators continue daily protests outside OpenAI offices seeking an AI treaty.
StopTheAIRace posted that its movement has reached day 26 of occupying OpenAI locations in San Francisco and New York City after a protest in Paris. The group states it organized the largest US AI safety protest and will continue until Sam Altman calls for an AI treaty. A separate post from canadabirdie describes day 5 of a solo protest in New York City. That protester reported talking to a lawyer about the race with China and meeting freelance journalist ninarobertsnyc, who posted photos of the action.
