Itch.io adds a 'No AI' filter for games with generative AI disclosures

The filter lets people hide games with disclosed generative AI use while browsing or searching itch.io. On November 3, enabling it reduced the number of visible game projects from more than 1.77 million to fewer than 425,000. Itch.io asks creators to disclose AI use when appropriate, so the filter depends on those disclosures. Steam also has AI disclosure rules but no equivalent store filter.
