I'm excited to become Chair of @TechNetUpdate.
John Doerr and Brook Byers helped found TechNet in the 1990s, sparked by a dinner in Palo Alto with John Chambers, Lew Platt, and others. Many said a bipartisan tech policy organization would never work, and that Silicon Valley would never embrace it.
Decades later, TechNet represents 100+ member companies and more than 5 million employees, sitting at the critical intersection of policymakers and technology.
That is a credit to @LindaMooreDC and the entire TechNet team. Look forward to the work ahead.
We are pleased to announce that @KleinerPerkins' @mamoonha is the new chair of TechNet's Executive Council. With his experience helping grow some of the world's most transformative companies, his voice will be vital to our advocacy for a pro-innovation agenda that benefits all Americans.
