“Red Means No” attendance was cited in a post about AI alignment qualifications

Frances Lorenz posted on X that an independent alignment researcher wrote on Substack that going to “Red Means No” would upgrade the researcher’s assessment of someone’s AI alignment qualifications. The same post also quoted the researcher saying “there are many other signals” that can substitute for it. Taylor Lorenz later reposted that post.
