Bethesda names its next Elder Scrolls game Sentinel

Bethesda named its next Elder Scrolls game Sentinel on Nov. 3, 2026, more than eight years after announcing the sixth game. Todd Howard revealed the name in an anniversary video. One account describes desert imagery and a quote tied to the High Queen of Hammerfell; another describes an accompanying Xbox Wire release as a logo image. No release date or platforms were announced at the time.
