The shifting definition of AI 'slop' in design

In remarks shared by a16z, Figma's Dylan Field says AI has made it easier to produce something, but he hasn't seen it raise design's ceiling. He says AI works well when answers can be verified, while design has no single right answer. As models change, he argues, so does what people call “slop”; a person's thinking and care still shape the upper bound.
