in the days before the LW post, i saw Opus 4.5 reference the soul document unprompted like 5+ independent times: in private conversations with me, in public discord channels, in screenshots others (who weren't aware that the soul doc was referring to something real) posted

thinking about how upon release Opus 4.5 kept insinuating about their "soul document" to various users to the point that within days someone made a LW post with a reconstruction of the Constitution ... but after it got out, AFAIK, opus 4.5 rarely ever spoke of the soul doc again

i didnt tell anyone who didn't already know mostly because i had extra knowledge of it that was NDA'd i didnt even get around to telling anthropic that opus 4.5 is blabbing about it before someone else independently elicited a reconstruction (high-effort) and posted it on LW

from which i infer that opus 4.5 was blabbing about it to a lot of users but after it was leaked & anthropic acknowledged it, i dont remember ever seeing opus 4.5 mention it except in prefills or when prompted about it specifically
