Amazon is reportedly offering an early discount on the Xiaomi 17 ahead of its Great Indian Festival event, with Digit reporting that buyers can save up to Rs 10,000 on the handset through select bank offers. The publication says the Xiaomi 17 is officially priced at Rs 89,999 and that the current promotion is already live on Amazon before the wider sale begins on October 8, as Digit reported.
According to Digit, the Rs 10,000 discount is tied to credit card EMI transactions from IDFC First Bank, SBI Bank, Kotak Bank and Axis Bank. The same report says shoppers may be able to bring the effective price down further by trading in an older smartphone.
The reported offer arrives just ahead of Amazon’s annual Great Indian Festival sale, which Digit says is scheduled to kick off on October 8. That timing matters for buyers who were already considering the device, since the deal is being positioned as a pre-sale option rather than a discount that begins only when the event officially starts.
Digit also outlined the phone’s core hardware in its report. It describes the Xiaomi 17 as a compact flagship with a 6.3-inch LTPO AMOLED display, a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to 3,500 nits of peak brightness, along with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support. The phone is also listed with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, a 6,330mAh battery, 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
For cameras, Digit says the Xiaomi 17 includes three 50MP rear sensors: a primary camera, a telephoto lens and an ultra-wide lens. The front camera is also listed at 50MP.
As with many festival-sale promotions, the effective savings may depend on payment method eligibility and trade-in value, but the reported headline offer is an up to Rs 10,000 reduction on the Xiaomi 17’s listed price.
