@mgeist @gary_srp In 2026 the liberals went completely incometent. The restictrions can be easily bypassed in a single command.
@mgeist @gary_srp I was pointing this out to people this morning. I've always been opposed to censorship. I am opposed to Conservative censorship attempts and am also opposed to Liberal censorship attempts.

@HoCStaffer What I find worrying is how most of media and civil society are like trained seals. Few criticism of anything. Liberals could close parliament for 50 weeks per year and run everything by decrees and few people would be critical of this move.

@HoCStaffer This will destroy Canada's domestic data center industry - such that it exists. Nobody will host data in Canada that doesn't conform to industry compliance standards that REQUIRE data safeguards - anything that weakens that means it's a no-go.
@HoCStaffer CSIS has no domestic power, it legally cannot spy on canadians. To hand over the data, police still need a warrant.
