Palo Alto Restaurant's Backpack Pile Draws Tech Etiquette Debate

Everything in SF feels like it was built for people who love hiking too much. You just can’t have an NYC-grade luxury experience of any sorts (expect for when you pay 😂)

Lot of dunks that this is everywhere, but I bet it’s unique. Confluence of factors: 1) people wear backpacks at high paying jobs 2) proliferation of Michelin star restaurants 3) lax dress code even at nice restaurants 4) nobody drives (backpack has to come with) 5) no shame
