xAI enables Grok subscribers to connect to Hermes Agent
xAI has enabled Grok subscribers to authenticate directly with Hermes Agent, Nous Research's open-source agent platform, via xAI Grok OAuth. The agent runs persistently on computers, sandboxes, or VPS instances with long-term memory across sessions and supports connections to WhatsApp, Discord, Telegram, and Signal. Users select the Grok provider at installation and complete sign-in through the browser. The integration was outlined in an announcement on x.ai that also references separate Hermes Agent documentation.
