Berkshire Hathaway adds $330 million to its Bending Spoons stake

The Financial Times reports Berkshire Hathaway is adding $330 million to its Bending Spoons stake through a placement of 10 million new shares at $33 apiece. The deal lifts Berkshire’s stake to 4 percent, following a $600 million investment at Bending Spoons’ IPO. Shares in the AOL, Eventbrite and Vimeo owner rose as much as 54.7 percent shortly after Wednesday’s opening bell, then traded about one-third higher later that morning.
