We're going to need an option to swap out all bad movies and TV shows with the AI remakes starring random dudes

Hakam Kiki, a Dubai-based digital creator posting as @advkiki on Instagram, has produced AI-generated videos inserting an ordinary man into multiple Game of Thrones scenes. The edits rely on video synthesis and face-swapping to place a figure wearing a black zip-up hoodie into sequences with characters including Daenerys Targaryen. The clips originated on Instagram and spread on X. Kiki has applied the same insertion technique to other films.

Positive users praise AI videos inserting a random man into Game of Thrones and Titanic scenes for their high quality and potential to fix flawed plots, while negative users dismiss them as visual noise or wasteful energy use.
@TrungTPhan I don't know why we have a compute shortage
that guy on IG putting himself in blockbuster films to fix the plots (eg Titanic) has found AI’s killer use case

@venturetwins These are great. You just know someone will fix GoT seasons 4-8 soon. Can’t wait.

@venturetwins Every movie becomes configurable

@venturetwins Hollywood should be worried

@venturetwins Personalized entertainment is coming

@venturetwins Someone make Nolan's Oppenheimer without all the boring post 1945 bits please?

@venturetwins Make a random dudette version - she slaps various characters from romcoms & period dramas
so we see Mr Darcy & Heathcliff getting slapped,
we’d be seeing Ryan Gosling & Mathew McConaughey get slapped a bit - & Hugh Grant
It would be a complete slapfest, so much slap material

@venturetwins this is the trend now. very solid. Been rewatching a few later episodes of GOT. Not quite sure if this is the reason. ...could've used this to reshoot some scenes for the later episodes

@TrungTPhan 🤣

@venturetwins The quality is outstanding. Doesn't look AI generated at all. It's insanely good.

@venturetwins there is no AI bubble

@venturetwins which ai tool are they using to do all this ? most modern ones refuse to touch anything even remotely related to copyrighted art !

@venturetwins The remake is the easy part now. The hard part is taste, rights, and knowing when nobody asked for the remake in the first place.

@venturetwins Movies in the future will be just rpg games 👀

@venturetwins rewrite all the objectively bad seasons and movies second halves

@venturetwins ai'll cook it all

@venturetwins AI remakes raise big creative and ethical questions

@venturetwins we could re-make star wars

@TrungTPhan Another use case wasting energy. Wen cure cancer?
