“one task”
@chrisfleck @Tesla_Optimus We have seen it do one task. Now how many others can it do?
The video shows robots loading dishwashers and sorting packages.

Many users are excited by Figure humanoid robots progressing from demos to real chores and factory tasks in the videos because it signals practical advances toward handling boring or dangerous work.

I meant one task on live stream.
Friends have factories. Many tasks to do.
Heck, my brother wants one to pour a drink in his bar.
American robotics are what I cheer for.
Go @Figure_robot go!
“one task”
@adcock_brett I would love to come over and see it do multiple tasks myself. Like walk from the bedroom to the factory and do a variety of things.
Heck, can’t wait to have one myself.

Go @Figure_robot go!

@SantoroSystems same robot, F.03, doing all of these
@adcock_brett And I meant one task in the factory.
Factories have thousands of tasks.
How many can it do in, say, a Ford factory?

@adcock_brett Robert is just throwing shade because he knows Optimus is nowhere close.
Check out what he was saying about Optimus in a Tesla space👇

@adcock_brett They keep downplaying you guys, don’t know why

@future_yas @adcock_brett He even had a follow up today 🤭

part of why there’s skepticism / downplaying of Figure is because the demos are behind a video of a clean environment. while it’s spectacular, it feels sterile and staged.
would be great if you guys can bring the robot live in front of public, do the tasks they’re doing. that way it feels more real, and allows for way more organic social media content

Oh that I 100% agree.
I do find it very weird that realistically Tesla has shown us nothing other than insanely short demos or just grok running on it.
I definitely think figure has gone above and beyond, I don't think they need to keep showing things. But if they're going to keep showing, I might as well give some suggestions.
I'm still looking forward to seeing more actual long horizon tasks

@adcock_brett @derekwall 😆 Good answer.

I get it. What’s really going on is a large group of Twitter worships Elon and they think the invisible Optimus is the best thing ever.
So they shit on figure like they do on Waymo.
Meanwhile Tesla doesn’t demo what they say they’ll demo and that makes the Elon worshippers even more defensive.
I know you’re lot them but we’re seeing lots from figure. They don’t have to show anything. I think they will take the advice and show more. Pretty cool.

@Scobleizer @adcock_brett @Scobleizer I'm starting small. First task for me is not pee on the toilet seat.. Day 0 of not peeing on the toilet seat :)

@thequeenbeetle @adcock_brett Amazing!

@Scobleizer @adcock_brett What task is in the bedroom?

@adcock_brett I love how those who aren't inventing or pioneering anything have opinions

@Scobleizer @Figure_robot you just can't please any of these damn roboticists. but gonna come a fuckin time when they realize it's them who needs to please us. who's gonna get it first? @Figure_robot @1x_tech @Tesla_Optimus

@adcock_brett I think the post meant '' one task'' on live

@adcock_brett Hey Brett, I think one of the biggest things that would help is showing it as one bot, with one network, doing multiple tasks.

@adcock_brett Robert means well
