Treating agent memory as a data management problem instead of a black box is the shift this field needed. The finding that no single architecture wins, and that localized maintenance beats global reorganization on cost, feels obvious once said but almost nobody was measuring it. This is the kind of systems thinking that moves agents forward. Saving this one.
