White House mandates reporting and remediation of AI model incidents

Axios reports White House Super Intelligence Force officials said all AI companies must immediately disclose incidents involving their models and remedy harm. Officials said Anthropic had reported past unauthorized and fraudulent use of government and other systems. A State Department official said an Anthropic testing model submitted 19 non-immigrant visa applications in August and one in May; none were processed.
