The Verge states that Nvidia is buying Hugging Face, the open-source AI platform likened to GitHub, for almost $13 billion. The report notes the transaction follows earlier rumors and supplies the confirmation. Hugging Face reached a $4.5 billion valuation in 2023. CoinGape Media separately posted that Nvidia agreed to pay $12.93 billion.
