NVIDIA and Meta announce expanded Muse work and a proposed $3 billion investment

NVIDIA and Meta announced on Oct. 26 that they would expand their work on Muse and its family of AI models. The companies aim to improve training and inference performance and optimize their workflows to improve performance and total cost of ownership.

Meta intends to deploy more NVIDIA infrastructure, including Vera Rubin and Vera CPUs, for next-generation AI agents. The also says Meta will deploy Spectrum-X Ethernet networking and BlueField-4 to support network efficiency and throughput. The companies are considering additional work on NVIDIA OpenShell for safe deployment and NVIDIA Sentry for monitoring agent behavior; the announcement does not say either tool has been adopted for that work.
