Lava Shark 2 Pro joins Vivo T5 Lite and Mivi One in India’s budget 5G phone race

India’s budget smartphone market has a new entrant in the Lava Shark 2 Pro, which Digit compares with the Mivi One 5G and Vivo T5 Lite as brands compete for buyers looking for affordable 5G phones with big screens, large batteries and capable cameras.

Digit frames the three handsets as broadly similar on the basics. Its comparison says all three offer 5G, 50MP rear cameras and Android 16, though the Vivo model is described more specifically as running OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.

Where the specs start to diverge

On displays, Digit says the Lava Shark 2 Pro and Vivo T5 Lite each have 120Hz screens, while the Mivi One 5G uses a 90Hz panel. The cited screen sizes are close: 6.75 inches for the Lava and Mivi phones, and 6.74 inches for the Vivo T5 Lite.
