@iScienceLuvr The convergence of biology and AI at the dinner table says a lot about where the next wave of innovation is coming from.
Yesterday I was at a techbio dinner. A Stanford professor who was attending said that "world models" of disease will only be possible when there's dynamic perturbational data to train on. I completely agree as well. This prof isn't the only person I've heard highlight this problem. Who's working on solving this problem? Precigenetics is one company I am aware of directly working on this. Are there other companies or labs that are thinking deeply about this or have solutions?
