@jbhuang0604 Not a huge fan of the new jargon but I'd argue that robotics is a small subset of embodied intelligence (which could include wearables, world models, etc) which is itself a small subset of physical AI (which could include fabrication, engineering, etc)

Positive users agree the clarification that robotics is a subset of embodied intelligence makes sense, while negative users criticize the jargon as favored by those with delusions about conscious AI models.

People who are delusional enough to think AI models are conscious are the same ones who like jargon like "Embodied Intelligence"; because deep down they know their beliefs are irrational and pure fantasy, and so it alleviates some of their cognitive dissonance to attribute intelligence to an object rather than a data file.

They can conceive of an object coming to life, because that's something they've seen happen in children's books, movies, etc., but they subconsciously know it's insane to believe a data file is alive.
