EM Elon Musk@elonmusk@tylerpalmer @ID_AA_Carmack You need a lot of energy to get from low Earth orbit to trans lunar injection and then a lot of energy to enter lunar orbit and land. The added complexity of tethers isn’t worth it imo, but I would love to be proven wrong.
