Meta rolls out Muse for small businesses with Facebook, Instagram and app integrations

Meta is rolling out a small-business version of its Muse AI agent, extending the tool from consumer use into business workflows tied to Meta’s own platforms and a broader set of workplace apps, Engadget reports.

Muse for Small Business can connect to owners’ professional accounts on Meta’s platform, along with third-party tools including Canva, Figma and Slack, per Engadget. The report says the agent can also access analytics for business and creator accounts on Facebook and Instagram, as well as advertising accounts, giving it visibility into social performance and ad activity.

That access is meant to let the agent handle tasks related to a company’s social presence, including work around ad campaigns. Engadget reports that Meta is positioning the product for companies that already use its professional tools, while also trying to expand Muse beyond Meta’s own apps.

Broader app connections

To do that, Meta has added support for a wide list of outside services, Engadget reports, including Asana, Box, Canva, Dropbox, Figma, Granola, HighLevel, Intuit QuickBooks, Klaviyo, Lovable, Notion, Shopify, Slack, Stripe and Zoom. If owners choose to connect those accounts, Meta says Muse can draw on data from those apps to take on broader business tasks.

Engadget highlighted examples Meta used to describe the tool’s intended role, including checking monthly financial performance, spotting unusual expenses, surfacing urgent items from email and calendars, and analyzing sales, campaigns and social activity to build a growth plan.

Pricing and Meta’s broader AI push

Meta says Muse Small Business is free for most typical use, though heavier or more intensive use may require a subscription, according to Engadget.

The launch also fits into Meta’s wider effort to commercialize its AI tools. Engadget says the announcement arrived one day after Meta unveiled a new enterprise business aimed at selling AI services to large companies.
