Hims launches testosterone replacement therapy service for cisgender men

WIRED reports that Hims’ service will use an at-home device to collect blood for testing across 21 biomarkers, including testosterone. Because testosterone is a controlled substance, patients must video chat with a clinician before receiving a prescription and undergo ongoing monitoring. Hims executive Peter Stahl says people without symptoms won’t receive treatment, regardless of their testosterone level.
