Samsung is expanding One UI 9 to more Galaxy devices with a new Settings hub meant to put routine support tasks, from checking a warranty to booking a repair, in one place.

In its September rollout announcement, Samsung said the expansion began with the Galaxy S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra after One UI 9 debuted on the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Fold8 and Flip8. The company says the update will roll out gradually to other devices rather than arriving everywhere at once.

The feature is called Warranty and Care. Inside Settings, Samsung says users can see warranty coverage for connected Galaxy devices, run self-diagnostics, view repair estimates, manage Samsung Care+ and book a service appointment. Its separate explainer says the diagnostics can check areas including battery, charging, sensors, touch response and connectivity.

The change is less about a new repair policy than about reducing the number of places a user has to visit when something goes wrong. Samsung says the menu can also route a user toward a Samsung-authorized service center or, where available, remote support. Repair estimates and other functions are not universal: the company says availability can vary by device model, software version and country or region.

That distinction matters for anyone reading the feature as a promise of immediate support. One UI 9 makes the support path easier to find on eligible devices, but the services offered through it still depend on the phone, account and location.
