It's actually underrated, and a bit jarring, how much contempt some high-profile Chinese tech bros in the US have for the host nation. This isn't like Russian "fat dumb burgers" stuff or Vivek's "work ethic". They go about their careers in the SF while pinching their noses.

They are ambitious, pragmatic and mostly don't buy the "American values" stuff. I think they would *definitely*, no ifs or buts, go home if their homeland could promise generational wealth. Luckily for Americans, it usually can't.
