The company further states that even if its system infringed Sony Music recordings, any resulting damages should stay minimal. Music Business Worldwide reports that Sony Music Entertainment and affiliated labels brought the suit over the use of recordings after an earlier attempt to add them to a separate case was rejected by the court.
