Talking with journalists is cool because you have to make sure you never say anything that could be twisted or taken out of context. But if you take a couple seconds to think about a question, they can just write about you as if you're the most awkward person alive

@max_spero_ They went to great lengths to find the most qualified person, a professor of “critical AI literacy” at a university no one has heard of, to opine on the accuracy of… not even Pangram. Top class work from the Wired.

You know how journalists try to find aligned "experts" to attack the subjects of their articles? Wired found a professor who said he doesn't think AI detectors work. He didn't even evaluate Pangram. lol

not to be the friend thats too woke but i genuinely think this article is ableist. labeling fidgeting, awkwardness, etc as signs of distrust rather than common behaviors in ppl with adhd/autism/anxiety/etc is extremely shitty
