CryptoSlate reports that Solana’s demo of a million-plus payments per second depends on off-chain vouchers that may vanish after a restart unless stored durably. It also says delivered service can go unpaid if a customer starts closing the payment channel before the merchant settles its final voucher on the blockchain.
