Reuters, citing a Nikkei report based on multiple sources, says NTT Data is in final talks to build a data center in Osaka for Anthropic. Nikkei says construction costs could reach up to 1 trillion yen ($6.3 billion). The facility would have power intake capacity of up to 500 megawatts, with partial operations possible as early as 2028.
