Airbnb adds AI search, more travel services and expanded social features

Airbnb’s latest product update expands the app across AI search, added travel services and social discovery. Users can toggle on text or voice property search and get dynamic filters based on their preferences. Airbnb also says it will use AI to highlight relevant property features and will let users compare wish-list properties through AI-generated summaries and reviews. The company is adding services including meal delivery, laundry, baby-gear rental, ski and boat rental in limited locations, and expanded grocery delivery. On the social side, travelers can view a map based on their connections’ past or upcoming trips, see where those connections stayed and which experiences they chose, and opt not to share their own trips with others.
