RuntimeWire reports Cosmic Robotics entered Y Combinator's S26 batch. Founders James Emerick and Lewis Jones are expanding Cosmic-1, their 10,000-pound autonomous robot already used to install solar panels. The company states the machine has completed tens of thousands of installation cycles and doubled manual crew productivity. Plans now include adapting the same platform for data center construction and NASA-backed lunar robotics.
