MapQuest reportedly adds Surveillance Layer for known license-plate readers

MapQuest added a mobile-app layer for finding known license-plate readers along a route, The Hill reports. Its account of MapQuest’s announcement lists Flock Safety and other companies. BGR reports that the map shows camera locations on public roads and facing directions. For access, MapQuest points to Map Options, while BGR describes a Layers control at the map’s bottom right.
