In January, the bank expected 14,000 units. A few months later, that forecast has more than tripled.
China now shifts from demos to deployment. CNBC says Chinese manufacturers are moving humanoids into factories, logistics, convenience stores and restaurants, backed by policy support and a deep industrial supply chain.
Users express optimism that open-source models will have an incredible run because humanoid robots like those in the China shipment forecast do not require bleeding-edge frontier models.
