Runway Announces Ruby Model for SDR to HDR Conversion
New tool upgrades video to high dynamic range output for use in professional formats.
Runway released details on its new Ruby model through an official post. The model converts standard dynamic range video into 16-bit high dynamic range versions delivered in ProRes and EXR sequences. It supports input from any existing uploaded video or from previously generated content on the service. The founder highlighted that this addresses one of the most requested capabilities built up over time at the company. He expressed excitement about the release and indicated additional features would follow soon.
