Deck-Man simulates a cassette Walkman on the folding iPhone Duo
Joanna Stern interviewed developer Vidit Bhargava about the 1998 Sony Walkman that inspired the app.
TLDR
Deck-Man recreates a cassette Walkman on the folding iPhone Duo, Joanna Stern writes. In her testing, closing the phone started music, rewind and fast-forward made sounds, and a virtual tape sometimes tangled. Stern interviewed developer Vidit Bhargava about the 1998 Sony Walkman that inspired the app. PCMag had earlier described the app as mimicking cassette loading.
