Snap revealed new software and partnerships for its $2,195 augmented-reality glasses on September 16, 2026, ahead of a launch planned for later that year, Bloomberg reports.
TechCrunch reports that Snap introduced Specs Intelligence, an AI system designed to work with the glasses as well as iPhones and Macs. Engadget says the assistant will also have its own mobile and desktop apps. TechCrunch also describes Specs for Enterprise, a program to integrate the glasses into corporate workflows, with partners including Amazon, Nvidia and Salesforce.
For use away from Wi-Fi, TechCrunch reports a separately sold package with a cellular-enabled charging case. The announced connectivity rates were $10 a month for Verizon customers and $20 for non-Verizon customers.
