Investor Matt Shumer replied to a discussion about building an AI-generated endless TikTok feed. He told contributor zam not to promote or fund the concept and labeled it infinite digital fentanyl, the most addictive technology imaginable. Shumer said it should become taboo to build or finance and asked others to speak against it too. Several replies agreed the idea was destructive or inauthentic and favored human connection over pure AI slop. One participant called it a real-world simulator better used for robots. Another defended the concept and said anyone who dislikes it can simply avoid it.
