Amazing!
“The unmanned surface vessel, a Saronic Corsair, located the crew, who had spent two hours in the waters off the coast of Oman and brought them to shore.”
Never been prouder of the @Saronic team. 🇺🇸💪🚀
The Apache helicopter was shot down by Iran.

Many praised the Saronic Corsair autonomous vessel for rescuing the Apache crew with advanced technology and called it an exciting milestone that saves lives, while a few criticized the related military engagement as wasteful.
Two US aviators went down near the Strait of Hormuz. DoW used an autonomous @Saronic Corsair to find and bring them home - the 1st drone rescue at sea in military history.
This is why we build: to keep our troops safe. This was science fiction. American builders made it real 🇺🇸.
Go @Saronic 🛥️🇺🇸

American Dynamism at its best.
@Saronic is remarkable.
@Saronic's Corsair rescued stranded American pilots from the Strait of Hormuz. In the first article from Arena 008: At Sea, we go inside the company building these boats. Out tomorrow.
This entire event will be confusing as hell for posterity.
"What do you mean you used a robot boat to rescue two human helicopter pilots in a war zone?"
"Ha ha gramps, you had robot boats but not robot helicopters that's a good one."
Note that Homer's depiction of war chariots also doesn't quite make sense.
This was an absolutely massive win for @Saronic
And by extension the broader US Defense Tech Ecosystem
And also the American Warfighter
I’m not an investor in Saronic but believe in giving praise when it’s due
Bravo 👏
Sketched this up as we were founding it. Amazing.

@KTmBoyle @Saronic When we talk about tech saving lives on team American Dynamism, we mean it literally.

@KTmBoyle @rmcentush @Saronic Must hav something to do with this.

@arenamagdotcom @Saronic Well done, @Saronic 's Corsair!
The Apache crew spent two hours in the water as darkness fell - described by a senior U.S. official as a "hand of God" moment. A drone found them.

@KTmBoyle @Saronic Wow.

@KTmBoyle @Saronic Incredible.

@JTLonsdale @Saronic You guys are a cut above.

@JTLonsdale @Saronic 👏 amazing 🇺🇸

@dave_brown24 @jmalsin @shelbyholliday Whoa @Saronic you guys should be super proud. Doing great work if seems

@dave_brown24 @jmalsin @shelbyholliday Off the coast of Oman? isn't that 5000000 miles from Iran... why couldn't they get to them sooner. Isn't?

@dave_brown24 @jmalsin @shelbyholliday But how does someone get into it ? Is it smaller than it appears?

@KTmBoyle @pronounced_kyle @Saronic Trump told me 2 months ago that their entire military and navy was “totally obliterated” though. How could this possibly have happened?

@KTmBoyle @Saronic Two U.S. aviators floating near the strait of Hormuz for several hours before an unmanned Navy vessel brought them home. Wow. That is courage, training and technology meeting the moment. Hats off to the crew and the rescue team.
