Elon Musk's The Boring Company has raised $3 billion in a Series D funding round led by the United Arab Emirates, valuing the tunnelling company at $23 billion.

Investors must supply candidates. Musk confirmed it in one word. The term sheet also asked them for introductions to officials in cities where the company wants to dig, and reserved the right to buy back shares from anyone who did not deliver.
