Cloudflare Launches WebMCP Developer Preview for AI Agents

Cloudflare announced the developer preview of WebMCP. Publishers enable it with one switch so browser AI agents can use their sites. No new APIs or origin changes are required. The human user stays in control and creators keep their traffic. Cloudflare states agents are a new visitor type backed by paying humans. The company also reported that more than half of requests on its network now come from machines rather than people.
