@deanwball @pmarca Seems unlikely it's a model weight issue, if they're addressing "foreign persons within the country"-- likely a deemed export issue related to the model outputs.

@deanwball @pmarca I mean tbh, I think America has the right to (and should) maintain the lead in AI, and restrict access outside the US, especially for high-disruption technology.

That being said, if this is simply in response to an unnamed individual being able to jailbreak Mythos, overreaction
